Purpose: Establish initial contact, build trust, mutual understanding of the case, skills and organizational needs. Common view of the essential 5 steps in the onboarding program.

Activity: A 30-minute call 

Who: Customer Lead + RD8. Customer Success Manager

When: After signing the contract - ideally within 24 hours.



Topics to be covered:


1.  Initial connection - 30 mins online call 

▢  a. Mutual introduction of RD8. Customer Success Manager and Customer Lead

▢  b. Recap initial goals and objectives

▢  c. Recap the contracted package:

  1. RD8. Academy (Courses) 
  2. RD8Platform (Licenses)
  3. RD8Engineering Services (Projects)

    ▢  d. Walk-through the 5 step onboarding program and align on

  1. Introduction & hand-over
  2. Plan & manage expectations
  3. Training Day(s)
  4. Hyper care
  5. Post-onboarding review

  e. Collect On-boarding participants - use the RD8 Onboarding template -v1 attached below

▢  f. Involve onboarding participants and project stakeholders to build early momentum such as:

  1. Sharing pre-reads
  2. Share inspirational videos
  3. Give access to the platform.

▢  g. Align on NDA agreements - (if relevant)
