Onboarding Program



This Onboarding Program lays the groundwork for Robust Design Principles and using the RD8 platform for the analysis, preparing learners to start their Robust Design journey and application.


Learning Objectives


By the end of this onboarding course, participants will be able to:
 

a) Apply the RD8 Software to improve tolerances in mechanical products by:
a)Analyzing and interpreting tolerance stack-ups
b)Analyzing and interpreting functional performance

b) Recognize how early tolerance design can improve decision-making, reduce design loops, and accelerate product development



Course Information


Prerequisites: Solid understanding and practical experience with mechanical design engineering.


Duration: 30 days

To gain the full effect of the onboarding process, engineers are recommended/expected to allocate at least 20 hours (5-8 hours per week ) —in addition to training sessions—  to follow the fast and steep learning curve, to gain confidence and exercising, and to start getting results on the robust design analysis.

  • The Onboarding process is designed to introduce and enable new users into using the Robust Design methodology and RD8. software.
  • Covers initial Robust Design introduction, training, hands-on support, and post-onboarding review to ensure seamless software adoption.
  • The RD8 Customer Success Manager is an experienced Robust Design consultant, with specialized skills in Robust Design, Software and training.
  • The Onboarding Program can be delivered effectively online, on-site or hybrid.
